How did I start coaching?

Having curiosity about people. That was my beginning.

Being a consultant for an organization innovation or being as a coach for sports team, it always inspired me when an individual transforms. I have always been curious about what those people are thinking. How does he/she feel? What is he/she going to determine? How do they want to use the rest of their lives?

Moving to HK was a turning point because I had to reset my career and environment. The only thing left in my mind was curiosity about people’s mind. I knew what coaching was because I used to have a coach; however I was only determined to study coaching after I came to HK.

Since then, I started reading different types of books about coaching, but when I read “Co-Active Coaching,” I had a feeling that this is the ONE.

Why do I coach?

Client's transforming process gives me energy to live.

For myself, coaching is like an adventure to find the client’s inner treasure. There will be a lot of treasure chests, some may be big and some may be small, and some may be the treasure that the owner does not know of. It is amazing to be in the moment when my client unravels the treasure chest. It is my pleasure to be with my client at precious moment. It is encouraging and beautiful that inspires me.
